Healing slowly
Well, maybe I just thought my achilles was doing better. Just yesterday, I was talking to some friends aabout how much better it felt. So much better, that I thought I’d stand a chance at going for an easy ride or something this weekend. I guess the tendon heard me talking, because it started to hurt again last night. AND, it’s been sore as heck all day today. What a bummer huh?
Cable companies are just silly. I called Comcast some days back to cancel our cable service. The picture was horrid, AND it cost alot. They told me on the phone that our internet service would increase by $20 per month if I did that. That’s ridiculous. But guess what? They have a $10 per month “basic” channel package that would let me keep my internet rate the same if I just downgraded our channels. So, come to find out it’s actually cheaper to have cable than it is to cancel it?!
I guess this leaves me back to ice and rest several times a day. I was so excited that my achilles was feeling better. I guess that’s how it goes though. Maybe an ice cream binge will make me feel better? Probably not, but it’s a nice though. Well, not really but it would be tasty. I’ll call Doc tomorrow and let him know what’s going on and see if I need to do anything different.
